I love these clips. I have medium length very fine hair and these stay in place just bunching up my hair and closing the claw over it. They don't hurt and the black/white and tortoiseshell are office friendly. To compare, I had also purchased a metal claw clip from Kitsch along with these but the heavier metal clip would weigh down my hair and eventually fall out. While I like the metal "look" these are lighter and actually get the job done.
